Medical Assisting Program
The Medical Assisting program is designed to prepare current and future employees for the fast-paced changes encountered in the health care industry, and to help develop skills and attitudes necessary to excel in medical assisting. Students are provided the opportunity to gain skills to help physicians and focus on the performance of clinical duties. This program is appropriate for entry-level positions in doctor's offices, hospitals, home health agencies, and other allied health organizations.
Program outcomes vary according to the specific curriculum, and employment opportunities are not guaranteed. Program lengths will vary by institution.
