The Bachelor of Science in Nursing is a degree completion program for registered nurses. The program provides a smooth transition for Registered Nurses furthering their education and careers, and serves the community and our society by meeting the need for increased numbers of highly skilled and knowledgeable nursing professionals. Program emphasis is on professional development in communication, critical thinking, community health, research, and leadership. Advanced standing credits are awarded for past nursing coursework. The program is delivered in an online format with a part-time or full-time option.
The Practical Nursing (PN) diploma program at ECPI University introduces nursing basics. Emphasizing critical thinking, communication, and theory, this diploma ensures comprehensive education for aspiring practical nurses. Through our accelerated year-round program, students can complete their program and earn their Practical Nursing diploma in just 15 months.
This program prepares students to become a valuable member of a healthcare team, working under the supervision of registered nurse, licensed physician, or other practitioner authorized by the state’s Board of Nursing.
Led by experienced faculty with a focus on hands-on learning through labs and simulations, our curriculum prepares you for the NCLEX-PN licensure exam. Once passed, the practical nurse is eligible to take licensure to become an LPN.
The year-round Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program can prepare you to become a Registered Nurse (RN) in just 18 months. The ADN program equips you with the essential skills and knowledge to provide safe and effective patient care in a variety of healthcare settings. With an emphasis on clinical reasoning, this comprehensive program combined with our year-round schedule allows you to graduate sooner and enter the field of nursing.
Post-graduation, ADN students are prepared to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).
