Medical Assistant - Certificate

Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist w/ MA skills - Certificate

Our Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist with Medical Assisting Skills program prepares you for a career as a limited medical radiologic technologist. As an LMRT (also known as a limited X-ray technologist), you will be responsible for performing limited-scope X-rays on the chest, extremities, skull, facial bones, and vertebral column. X-rays (also known as radiographs) are a form of radiation that can penetrate the body, creating images of the body’s interior.

An LMRT is responsible for communicating with patients about the procedures, administering the X-rays, and producing an image that is diagnostically acceptable. Once the images are analyzed, they are sent to other medical personnel for diagnosis.
