About Danville Regional Medical Center School of Health Professions

The Radiologic Technology Program opened in February 2003 due to an increased demand for Radiologic Technologists. Our program is a full-time, two-year, hospital based, Associate Degree program that is accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) and the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) and is certified to operate as an institution of higher learning by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV). Transferability of course work from the Sovah program, as with most other programs, is dependent upon the program to which students are considering their transfer.
